Owned by husband and wife duo Robert Irving and Lynn Von Kersting, The Ivy Los Angeles opened in 1983 and has since been the go-to dining spot for anyone and everyone hot in Hollywood.
A well known hotspot for paparazzi and the their celebrity subjects; I went over to Robertson Blvd to see what the Ivy was really all about. I didn’t want to be distracted by the flashing lights, so I specifically booked a table for early morning (8:00am) breakfast.
Three things that make The Ivy special: 1.Comfort food in big portions, 2. Outside seating that makes for the most spectacular people watching, and 3. The warm and friendly service.
For brunch, try the mesquite grilled kobe steak and eggs, for lunch try The Ivy lobster club, and if you’re having dinner go for spaghetti with tomato sauce and homemade meatballs.
Power lunching A to D-listers and celebrity spotting enthusiasts.
