A while back (30 to 60 working days to be exact) I placed an order with Zaful as part of a sponsored post. I’m not really into reviews but thought it might be helpful for any of you who are thinking of purchasing anything from the Chinese retailer. Disclaimer: this Zaful review is based on my personal online shopping experience, you may have a completely different opinion of the store.
Sunglasses: There’s nothing like a pair of big , black sunnies to take any outfit from lackluster to luxe. I’ve worn this pair a few times and they arena absolute steal at just $5.10. (Shop them here)
Earrings: The earrings were the highlight of my entire purchase. The pearl and diamanté tear drop earrings (pictured above and below) have become a go-to piece, and the bold art deco earrings are winning me over daily. (shop here)
Bracelet: At $3.16, I’m completely ‘shook’! This bracelet would probably sell for three times the price at a high street retailer. (shop here)
Necklace and Rings: Both these items were a big disappointment. The rings went from a rich gold to an off putting greenish bronze after washing my hands at work. The picture below shows what they looked like before things went south. The same thing happened with the necklace, only it was the rain that was the culprit this time around. But both items cost under $6 so I can’t really ‘be mad at it’.
- FINAL VERDICT
If you want to look bougie on a budget, Zaful is for you. They have an endless selection of expensive-looking pieces that won’t break the bank. In future, I’ll definitely be stocking my cart with their sunglasses and earrings.
Just like a trip to McDonalds, I got what I paid for. Zaful is not claiming to be the next Zara or Uniqlo, they sell affordable clothing and accessories that will keep your bank balance and your instagram feed happy.
